job 17:1

קְבָרִ֥ים	נִזְעָ֗כוּ	יָמַ֥י	חֻ֭בָּלָה	רוּחִ֣י
𐤒􉀑𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤍𐤆𐤏𐤊𐤅	𐤉𐤌𐤉	𐤇􉀑𐤋𐤄	𐤓𐤅𐤇𐤉
qa-ba-ra-ym	na-za-'a-kwa	ya-ma-ya	chuba-la-ha	rwcha-ya
qebariym	nize'akw	yamay	hubalah	rwhiy
the grave	are extinguished;	my days	is broken;	My spirit

17-1. My breath is corrupt, my days are extinct, the graves are ready for me.

job 17:2

עֵינִֽי	תָּלַ֥ן	וּ֝בְהַמְּרֹותָ֗ם	עִמָּדִ֑י	הֲ֭תֻלִים	לִֽיאִםלֹ֣א
𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉	𐤕𐤋𐤍	𐤅􉀑𐤄𐤌𐤓𐤅𐤕𐤌	𐤏𐤌𐤃𐤉	𐤄𐤕𐤋𐤉𐤌	𐤋𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤋𐤀
'a-yna-ya	tha-la-n	wba-ha-ma-ra-wtha-m	'a-ma-da-ya	hathula-ym	la-yaa-mla-a
'eyniy	talan	wbehamerowtam	'imadiy	hatuliym	liy'imlo'
and my eyes	must gaze	at their rebellion.	surround me	mockers	awaits me. Surely Surely

17-2. Are there not mockers with me? and doth not mine eye continue in their provocation?

job 17:3

יִתָּקֵֽעַ	לְיָדִ֥י	ה֝֗וּא	מִֽי	עִמָּ֑ךְ	עָרְבֵ֣נִי	נָּ֭א	שִֽׂימָה
𐤉𐤕𐤒𐤏	𐤋𐤉𐤃𐤉	𐤄𐤅𐤀	𐤌𐤉	𐤏𐤌𐤊	𐤏𐤓􉀑𐤍𐤉	𐤍𐤀	𐤔𐤉𐤌𐤄
ya-tha-qa-'a	la-ya-da-ya	hwa	ma-ya	'a-ma-ka	'a-ra-ba-na-ya	na-a	sha-yma-ha
yitaqe'a	leyadiy	hw'	miy	'imake	'arebeniy	na'	siymah
	will be my guarantor?		Who else	You [demand].	the pledge	I pray,	Give [me],

17-3. Lay down now, put me in a surety with thee; who is he that will strike hands with me?

job 17:4

תְרֹמֵֽם	לֹ֣א	כֵּ֝֗ן	עַל	שָּׂ֑כֶל	מִ	צָפַ֣נְתָּ	כִּֽילִ֭בָּם
𐤕𐤓𐤌𐤌	𐤋𐤀	𐤊𐤍	𐤏𐤋	𐤔𐤊𐤋	𐤌	𐤑𐤐𐤍𐤕	𐤊𐤉𐤋􉀑𐤌
tha-ra-ma-m	la-a	ka-n	'a-l	sha-ka-l	ma	sa-pa-na-tha	ka-yla-ba-m
teromem	lo'	ken	'al	sakel	mi	sapaneta	kiylibam
exalt them.	You will not		therefore	to understanding;		You have closed	their minds

17-4. For thou hast hid their heart from understanding: therefore shalt thou not exalt them.

job 17:5

תִּכְלֶֽנָה	בָנָ֣יו	וְעֵינֵ֖י	רֵעִ֑ים	יַגִּ֣יד	לְ֭חֵלֶק
𐤕𐤊𐤋𐤍𐤄	􉀑𐤍𐤉𐤅	𐤅𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉	𐤓𐤏𐤉𐤌	𐤉𐤂𐤉𐤃	𐤋𐤇𐤋𐤒
tha-ka-la-na-ha	ba-na-ywa	wa-'a-yna-ya	ra-'a-ym	ya-ga-yd	la-cha-la-qh
tikelenah	banayw	we'eyney	re'iym	yagiyd	leheleq
will fail.	of his children	the eyes	his friends	If a man denounces	for a price,

17-5. He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.

job 17:6

אֶֽהְיֶֽה	לְפָנִ֣ים	וְתֹ֖פֶת	עַמִּ֑ים	לִמְשֹׁ֣ל	וְֽ֭הִצִּגַנִי
𐤀𐤄𐤉𐤄	𐤋𐤐𐤍𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤕𐤐𐤕	𐤏𐤌𐤉𐤌	𐤋𐤌𐤔𐤋	𐤅𐤄𐤑𐤂𐤍𐤉
aa-ha-ya-ha	la-pa-na-ym	wa-tha-pa-tha	'a-ma-ym	la-ma-sha-l	wa-ha-sa-ga-na-ya
'eheyeh	lepaniym	wetopet	'amiym	limesol	wehisiganiy
I am the one	in whose face	they spit.	to the people;	a byword	He has made me

17-6. He hath made me also a byword of the people; and aforetime I was as a tabret.

job 17:7

כֻּלָּֽם	צֵּ֣ל	כַּ	וִֽיצֻרַ֖י	עֵינִ֑י	כַּ֣עַשׂ	מִ	וַתֵּ֣כַהּ
𐤊𐤋𐤌	𐤑𐤋	𐤊	𐤅𐤉𐤑𐤓𐤉	𐤏𐤉𐤍𐤉	𐤊𐤏𐤔	𐤌	𐤅𐤕𐤊𐤄
kula-m	sa-l	ka	wa-ysura-ya	'a-yna-ya	ka-'a-sha	ma	wa-tha-ka-ha
kulam	sel	ka	wiysuray	'eyniy	ka'as	mi	watekah
and my whole	is but a shadow.		body	My eyes	with grief,		have grown dim

17-7. Mine eye also is dim by reason of sorrow, and all my members are as a shadow.

job 17:8

יִתְעֹרָֽר	חָנֵ֥ף	עַל	וְ֝נָקִ֗י	זֹ֑את	עַל	יְשָׁרִ֣ים	יָשֹׁ֣מּוּ
𐤉𐤕𐤏𐤓𐤓	𐤇𐤍𐤐	𐤏𐤋	𐤅𐤍𐤒𐤉	𐤆𐤀𐤕	𐤏𐤋	𐤉𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤉𐤔𐤌𐤅
ya-tha-'a-ra-r	cha-na-ph	'a-l	wa-na-qa-ya	za-atha	'a-l	ya-sha-ra-ym	ya-sha-mwa
yite'orar	hanep	'al	wenaqiy	zo't	'al	yesariym	yasomw
are stirred	the godless.	against	and the innocent	this,	at	The upright	are appalled

17-8. Upright men shall be astonied at this, and the innocent shall stir up himself against the hypocrite.

job 17:9

אֹֽמֶץ	יֹסִ֥יף	יָ֝דַ֗יִם	וּֽטֳהָר	דַּרְכֹּ֑ו	צַדִּ֣יק	וְיֹאחֵ֣ז
𐤀𐤌𐤑	𐤉𐤎𐤉𐤐	𐤉𐤃𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤈𐤄𐤓	𐤃𐤓𐤊𐤅	𐤑𐤃𐤉𐤒	𐤅𐤉𐤀𐤇𐤆
aa-ma-tz	ya-sa-yph	ya-da-ya-m	wtoha-r	da-ra-ka-wa	sa-da-yqh	wa-ya-acha-z
'omes	yosiyp	yadayim	wtohar	darekow	sadiyq	weyo'hez
stronger.	will grow	the one with clean hands	and and	to his way,	Yet the righteous	will hold

17-9. The righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

job 17:10

בָכֶ֣םחָכָֽם	אֶמְצָ֖א	וְלֹֽא	נָ֑א	וּבֹ֣אוּ	תָּ֭שֻׁבוּ	כֻּלָּ֣ם	וְֽאוּלָ֗ם
􉀑𐤊𐤌𐤇𐤊𐤌	𐤀𐤌𐤑𐤀	𐤅𐤋𐤀	𐤍𐤀	𐤅􉀑𐤀𐤅	𐤕𐤔􉀑𐤅	𐤊𐤋𐤌	𐤅𐤀𐤅𐤋𐤌
ba-ka-mcha-ka-m	aa-ma-sa-a	wa-la-a	na-a	wba-awa	tha-shubwa	kula-m	wa-awla-m
bakemhakam	'emesa'	welo'	na'	wbo'w	tasubw	kulam	we'wlam
among you. a wise man	find	For I will not		come back	and try again,	all of you.	But

17-10. But as for you all, do ye return, and come now: for I cannot find one wise man among you.

job 17:11

לְבָבִֽי	מֹ֖ורָשֵׁ֣י	נִתְּק֑וּ	זִמֹּתַ֣י	עָ֭בְרוּ	יָמַ֣י
𐤋􉀑􉀑𐤉	𐤌𐤅𐤓𐤔𐤉	𐤍𐤕𐤒𐤅	𐤆𐤌𐤕𐤉	𐤏􉀑𐤓𐤅	𐤉𐤌𐤉
la-ba-ba-ya	ma-wra-sha-ya	na-tha-qwa	za-ma-tha-ya	'a-ba-rwa	ya-ma-ya
lebabiy	mowrasey	niteqw	zimotay	'aberw	yamay
of my heart.	even the desires	are broken off—	my plans	have passed;	My days

17-11. My days are past, my purposes are broken off, even the thoughts of my heart.

job 17:12

חֹֽשֶׁךְ	פְּנֵי	מִ	קָרֹ֥וב	אֹ֝֗ור	יָשִׂ֑ימוּ	לְיֹ֣ום	לַ֭יְלָה
𐤇𐤔𐤊	𐤐𐤍𐤉	𐤌	𐤒𐤓𐤅􉀑	𐤀𐤅𐤓	𐤉𐤔𐤉𐤌𐤅	𐤋𐤉𐤅𐤌	𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄
cha-sha-ka	pa-na-ya	ma	qa-ra-wb	aa-wr	ya-sha-ymwa	la-ya-wm	la-ya-la-ha
hoseke	peney	mi	qarowb	'owr	yasiymw	leyowm	layelah
of darkness.	in the face		seem near	and have made light	They have turned	into day	night

17-12. They change the night into day: the light is short because of darkness.

job 17:13

יְצוּעָֽי	רִפַּ֥דְתִּי	בַּ֝חֹ֗שֶׁךְ	בֵּיתִ֑י	שְׁאֹ֣ול	אִםאֲ֭קַוֶּה
𐤉𐤑𐤅𐤏𐤉	𐤓𐤐𐤃𐤕𐤉	􉀑𐤇𐤔𐤊	􉀑𐤉𐤕𐤉	𐤔𐤀𐤅𐤋	𐤀𐤌𐤀𐤒𐤅𐤄
ya-sw'a-ya	ra-pa-da-tha-ya	ba-cha-sha-ka	ba-ytha-ya	sha-aa-wl	aa-maaqa-wa-ha
yesw'ay	ripadetiy	bahoseke	beytiy	se'owl	'im'aqaweh
my bed	if I spread out	in darkness,	as my home,	for Sheol	If I look

17-13. If I wait, the grave is mine house: I have made my bed in the darkness.

job 17:14

לָֽרִמָּֽה	וַ֝אֲחֹתִ֗י	אִמִּ֥י	אָ֑תָּה	אָ֣בִי	קָ֭רָאתִי	לַשַּׁ֣חַת
𐤋𐤓𐤌𐤄	𐤅𐤀𐤇𐤕𐤉	𐤀𐤌𐤉	𐤀𐤕𐤄	𐤀􉀑𐤉	𐤒𐤓𐤀𐤕𐤉	𐤋𐤔𐤇𐤕
la-ra-ma-ha	wa-aacha-tha-ya	aa-ma-ya	aa-tha-ha	aa-ba-ya	qa-ra-atha-ya	la-sha-cha-tha
larimah	wa'ahotiy	'imiy	'atah	'abiy	qara'tiy	lasahat
and to the worm,	or ‘My sister,’	‘My mother,’	‘You [are]	my father,’	and say	to corruption,

17-14. I have said to corruption, Thou art my father: to the worm, Thou art my mother, and my sister.

job 17:15

יְשׁוּרֶֽנָּה	מִ֣י	וְ֝תִקְוָתִ֗י	תִקְוָתִ֑י	אֵפֹ֣ו	וְ֭אַיֵּה
𐤉𐤔𐤅𐤓𐤍𐤄	𐤌𐤉	𐤅𐤕𐤒𐤅𐤕𐤉	𐤕𐤒𐤅𐤕𐤉	𐤀𐤐𐤅	𐤅𐤀𐤉𐤄
ya-shwra-na-ha	ma-ya	wa-tha-qa-wa-tha-ya	tha-qa-wa-tha-ya	aa-pa-wa	wa-aa-ya-ha
yeswrenah	miy	wetiqewatiy	tiqewatiy	'epow	we'ayeh
can see	Who	any hope for me?	is my hope?	then	where

17-15. And where is now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?

job 17:16

נָֽחַת	עָפָ֣ר	עַל	אִםיַ֖חַד	תֵּרַ֑דְנָה	שְׁאֹ֣ל	בַּדֵּ֣י
𐤍𐤇𐤕	𐤏𐤐𐤓	𐤏𐤋	𐤀𐤌𐤉𐤇𐤃	𐤕𐤓𐤃𐤍𐤄	𐤔𐤀𐤋	􉀑𐤃𐤉
na-cha-tha	'a-pa-r	'a-l	aa-mya-cha-d	tha-ra-da-na-ha	sha-aa-l	ba-da-ya
nahat	'apar	'al	'imyahad	teradenah	se'ol	badey
Will we go down	the dust?”	into	together	Will it go down	of Sheol?	to the gates

17-16. They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when our rest together is in the dust.
