תִּפְנֶֽה	קְּדֹשִׁ֣ים	מִ	וְאֶלמִ֖י	עֹונֶ֑ךָּ	יֵ֣שׁ	הֲ	נָ֭א	קְֽרָא
𐤕𐤐𐤍𐤄	𐤒𐤃𐤔𐤉𐤌	𐤌	𐤅𐤀𐤋𐤌𐤉	𐤏𐤅𐤍𐤊	𐤉𐤔	𐤄	𐤍𐤀	𐤒𐤓𐤀
tha-pa-na-ha	qa-da-sha-ym	ma	wa-aa-lma-ya	'a-wna-ka	ya-sha	ha	na-a	qa-ra-a
tipeneh	qedosiym	mi	we'elmiy	'owneka	yes	ha	na'	qera'
will you turn?	of the holy ones		To which	but who will answer?			if you please,	Call out

5-1. Call now, if there be any that will answer thee; and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?

job 5:2

קִנְאָֽה	תָּמִ֥ית	וּ֝פֹתֶ֗ה	כָּ֑עַשׂ	יַהֲרָג	כִּֽילֶֽ֭אֱוִיל
𐤒𐤍𐤀𐤄	𐤕𐤌𐤉𐤕	𐤅𐤐𐤕𐤄	𐤊𐤏𐤔	𐤉𐤄𐤓𐤂	𐤊𐤉𐤋𐤀𐤅𐤉𐤋
qa-na-aa-ha	tha-ma-ytha	wpa-tha-ha	ka-'a-sha	ya-hara-gh	ka-yla-au-wa-yl
qine'ah	tamiyt	wpoteh	ka'as	yaharag	kiyle'ewiyl
and envy	slays	the simple.	resentment	kills	For For a fool,

5-2. For wrath killeth the foolish man, and envy slayeth the silly one.

job 5:3

פִתְאֹֽם	נָוֵ֣הוּ	וָאֶקֹּ֖וב	מַשְׁרִ֑ישׁ	אֱוִ֣יל	רָ֭אִיתִי	אֲֽנִי
𐤐𐤕𐤀𐤌	𐤍𐤅𐤄𐤅	𐤅𐤀𐤒𐤅􉀑	𐤌𐤔𐤓𐤉𐤔	𐤀𐤅𐤉𐤋	𐤓𐤀𐤉𐤕𐤉	𐤀𐤍𐤉
pa-tha-aa-m	na-wa-hwa	wa-aa-qa-wb	ma-sha-ra-ysha	au-wa-yl	ra-aa-ytha-ya	aana-ya
pite'om	nawehw	wa'eqowb	maseriys	'ewiyl	ra'iytiy	'aniy
but suddenly	his house	was cursed.	taking root,	a fool	have seen	I

5-3. I have seen the foolish taking root: but suddenly I cursed his habitation.

job 5:4

מַצִּֽיל	וְאֵ֣ין	בַ֝שַּׁ֗עַר	וְיִֽדַּכְּא֥וּ	יֶּ֑שַׁע	מִ	בָנָ֣יו	יִרְחֲק֣וּ
𐤌𐤑𐤉𐤋	𐤅𐤀𐤉𐤍	􉀑𐤔𐤏𐤓	𐤅𐤉𐤃𐤊𐤀𐤅	𐤉𐤔𐤏	𐤌	􉀑𐤍𐤉𐤅	𐤉𐤓𐤇𐤒𐤅
ma-sa-yl	wa-aa-yn	ba-sha-'a-r	wa-ya-da-ka-awa	ya-sha-'	ma	ba-na-ywa	ya-ra-chaqwa
masiyl	we'eyn	basa'ar	weyidake'w	yesa'	mi	banayw	yirehaqw
a defender.	without	in court	crushed	safety,	from	His sons	are far

5-4. His children are far from safety, and they are crushed in the gate, neither is there any to deliver them.

job 5:5

חֵילָֽם	צַמִּ֣ים	וְשָׁאַ֖ף	יִקָּחֵ֑הוּ	צִּנִּ֥ים	וְאֶֽלמִ	יֹאכֵ֗ל	רָ֘עֵ֤ב	אֲשֶׁ֤רקְצִירֹ֨ו
𐤇𐤉𐤋𐤌	𐤑𐤌𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤔𐤀𐤐	𐤉𐤒𐤇𐤄𐤅	𐤑𐤍𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤀𐤋𐤌	𐤉𐤀𐤊𐤋	𐤓𐤏􉀑	𐤀𐤔𐤓𐤒𐤑𐤉𐤓𐤅
cha-yla-m	sa-ma-ym	wa-sha-aa-ph	ya-qa-cha-hwa	sa-na-ym	wa-aa-lma	ya-aka-l	ra-'a-b	aasha-rqa-sa-yra-wa
heylam	samiym	wesa'ap	yiqahehw	siniym	we'elmi	yo'kel	ra'eb	'aserqesiyrow
after his wealth.	and the thirsty	pant	taking it even	the thorns;	from	consume	The hungry	his harvest,

5-5. Whose harvest the hungry eateth up, and taketh it even out of the thorns, and the robber swalloweth up their substance.

עָמָֽל	יִצְמַ֥ח	לֹא	אֲדָמָ֗ה	וּ֝מֵ	אָ֑וֶן	עָפָ֣ר	מֵ	יֵצֵ֣א	כִּ֤ילֹא
𐤏𐤌𐤋	𐤉𐤑𐤌𐤇	𐤋𐤀	𐤀𐤃𐤌𐤄	𐤅𐤌	𐤀𐤅𐤍	𐤏𐤐𐤓	𐤌	𐤉𐤑𐤀	𐤊𐤉𐤋𐤀
'a-ma-l	ya-sa-ma-cha	la-a	aada-ma-ha	wma	aa-wa-n	'a-pa-r	ma	ya-sa-a	ka-yla-a
'amal	yisemah	lo'	'adamah	wme	'awen	'apar	me	yese'	kiylo'
and trouble	sprout	does not	the ground.	from	distress	the dust,	from	spring	For does not

5-6. Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;

job 5:7

עֽוּף	יַגְבִּ֥יהוּ	רֶ֝֗שֶׁף	וּבְנֵי	יוּלָּ֑ד	לְעָמָ֣ל	כִּֽיאָ֭דָם
𐤏𐤅𐤐	𐤉𐤂􉀑𐤉𐤄𐤅	𐤓𐤔𐤐	𐤅􉀑𐤍𐤉	𐤉𐤅𐤋𐤃	𐤋𐤏𐤌𐤋	𐤊𐤉𐤀𐤃𐤌
'wph	ya-ga-ba-yhwa	ra-sha-ph	wba-na-ya	ywla-d	la-'a-ma-l	ka-yaa-da-m
'wp	yagebiyhw	resep	wbeney	ywlad	le'amal	kiy'adam
fly	upward.		as surely as sparks	is born	to trouble	Yet man

5-7. Yet man is born unto trouble, as the sparks fly upward.

job 5:8

דִּבְרָתִֽי	אָשִׂ֥ים	וְאֶלאֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים	אֶלאֵ֑ל	אֶדְרֹ֣שׁ	אֲ֭נִי	אוּלָ֗ם
𐤃􉀑𐤓𐤕𐤉	𐤀𐤔𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤀𐤋𐤀𐤋𐤄𐤉𐤌	𐤀𐤋𐤀𐤋	𐤀𐤃𐤓𐤔	𐤀𐤍𐤉	𐤀𐤅𐤋𐤌
da-ba-ra-tha-ya	aa-sha-ym	wa-aa-lau-la-ha-ym	aa-laa-l	aa-da-ra-sha	aana-ya	awla-m
diberatiy	'asiym	we'el'elohiym	'el'el	'ederos	'aniy	'wlam
my cause	and lay	before Him	to God	I would appeal	if I were you,	However,

5-8. I would seek unto God, and unto God would I commit my cause:

מִסְפָּֽר	אֵ֥ין	עַד	נִ֝פְלָאֹ֗ות	חֵ֑קֶר	וְאֵ֣ין	גְ֭דֹלֹות	עֹשֶׂ֣ה
𐤌𐤎𐤐𐤓	𐤀𐤉𐤍	𐤏𐤃	𐤍𐤐𐤋𐤀𐤅𐤕	𐤇𐤒𐤓	𐤅𐤀𐤉𐤍	𐤂𐤃𐤋𐤅𐤕	𐤏𐤔𐤄
ma-sa-pa-r	aa-yn	'a-d	na-pa-la-aa-wtha	cha-qa-r	wa-aa-yn	ga-da-la-wtha	'a-sha-ha
misepar	'eyn	'ad	nipela'owt	heqer	we'eyn	gedolowt	'oseh
number.	without		wonders	unsearchable things,	and	great	who does

5-9. Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:

job 5:10

חוּצֹֽות	פְּנֵ֥י	עַל	מַ֝יִם	וְשֹׁ֥לֵֽחַ	אָ֑רֶץ	פְּנֵי	עַל	מָ֭טָר	הַנֹּתֵ֣ן
𐤇𐤅𐤑𐤅𐤕	𐤐𐤍𐤉	𐤏𐤋	𐤌𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤔𐤋𐤇	𐤀𐤓𐤑	𐤐𐤍𐤉	𐤏𐤋	𐤌𐤈𐤓	𐤄𐤍𐤕𐤍
chwsa-wtha	pa-na-ya	'a-l	ma-ya-m	wa-sha-la-cha	aa-ra-tz	pa-na-ya	'a-l	ma-ta-r	ha-na-tha-n
hwsowt	peney	'al	mayim	wesoleha	'ares	peney	'al	matar	hanoten
the fields.		upon	water	and sends	the earth		to	rain	He gives

5-10. Who giveth rain upon the earth, and sendeth waters upon the fields:

יֶֽשַׁע	שָׂ֣גְבוּ	וְ֝קֹדְרִ֗ים	לְמָרֹ֑ום	שְׁפָלִ֣ים	לָשׂ֣וּם
𐤉𐤔𐤏	𐤔𐤂􉀑𐤅	𐤅𐤒𐤃𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤋𐤌𐤓𐤅𐤌	𐤔𐤐𐤋𐤉𐤌	𐤋𐤔𐤅𐤌
ya-sha-'	sha-ga-bwa	wa-qa-da-ra-ym	la-ma-ra-wm	sha-pa-la-ym	la-shwm
yesa'	sagebw	weqoderiym	lemarowm	sepaliym	laswm
to safety.	are lifted	so that mourners	on high,	the lowly	He sets

5-11. To set up on high those that be low; that those which mourn may be exalted to safety.

job 5:12

תּוּשִׁיָּֽה	יְ֝דֵיהֶ֗ם	תַעֲשֶׂ֥ינָה	וְֽלֹא	עֲרוּמִ֑ים	מַחְשְׁבֹ֣ות	מֵ֭פֵר
𐤕𐤅𐤔𐤉𐤄	𐤉𐤃𐤉𐤄𐤌	𐤕𐤏𐤔𐤉𐤍𐤄	𐤅𐤋𐤀	𐤏𐤓𐤅𐤌𐤉𐤌	𐤌𐤇𐤔􉀑𐤅𐤕	𐤌𐤐𐤓
thwsha-ya-ha	ya-da-yha-m	tha-'asha-yna-ha	wa-la-a	'arwma-ym	ma-cha-sha-ba-wtha	ma-pa-r
twsiyah	yedeyhem	ta'aseynah	welo'	'arwmiym	mahesebowt	meper
success.	so that their hands	find	no	of the crafty,	the schemes	He thwarts

5-12. He disappointeth the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot perform their enterprise.

job 5:13

נִמְהָֽרָה	נִפְתָּלִ֣ים	וַעֲצַ֖ת	בְּעָרְמָ֑ם	חֲכָמִ֣ים	לֹכֵ֣ד
𐤍𐤌𐤄𐤓𐤄	𐤍𐤐𐤕𐤋𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤏𐤑𐤕	􉀑𐤏𐤓𐤌𐤌	𐤇𐤊𐤌𐤉𐤌	𐤋𐤊𐤃
na-ma-ha-ra-ha	na-pa-tha-la-ym	wa-'asa-tha	ba-'a-ra-ma-m	chaka-ma-ym	la-ka-d
nimeharah	nipetaliym	wa'asat	be'aremam	hakamiym	loked
and sweeps away	of the cunning.	the plans	in their craftiness,	the wise	He catches

5-13. He taketh the wise in their own craftiness: and the counsel of the froward is carried headlong.

job 5:14

בַֽצָּהֳרָֽיִם	יְֽמַשְׁשׁ֥וּ	לַּ֗יְלָה	וְ֝כַ	חֹ֑שֶׁךְ	יְפַגְּשׁוּ	יֹומָ֥ם
􉀑𐤑𐤄𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤉𐤌𐤔𐤔𐤅	𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄	𐤅𐤊	𐤇𐤔𐤊	𐤉𐤐𐤂𐤔𐤅	𐤉𐤅𐤌𐤌
ba-sa-hora-ya-m	ya-ma-sha-shwa	la-ya-la-ha	wa-ka	cha-sha-ka	ya-pa-ga-shwa	ya-wma-m
basahorayim	yemasesw	layelah	weka	hoseke	yepagesw	yowmam
at noon	and grope	as in the night.		darkness	They encounter	by day

5-14. They meet with darkness in the day time, and grope in the noonday as in the night.

job 5:15

אֶבְיֹֽון	חָזָ֣ק	יַּ֖ד	וּמִ	פִּיהֶ֑ם	מִ	חֶרֶב	מֵ֭	וַיֹּ֣שַׁע
𐤀􉀑𐤉𐤅𐤍	𐤇𐤆𐤒	𐤉𐤃	𐤅𐤌	𐤐𐤉𐤄𐤌	𐤌	𐤇𐤓􉀑	𐤌	𐤅𐤉𐤔𐤏
aa-ba-ya-wn	cha-za-qh	ya-d	wma	pa-yha-m	ma	cha-ra-b	ma	wa-ya-sha-'
'ebeyown	hazaq	yad	wmi	piyhem	mi	hereb	me	wayosa'
the needy	of the powerful.	from the clutches	and and	in their mouth		the sword	from	He saves

5-15. But he saveth the poor from the sword, from their mouth, and from the hand of the mighty.

job 5:16

פִּֽיהָ	קָ֣פְצָה	וְ֝עֹלָ֗תָה	תִּקְוָ֑ה	לַדַּ֣ל	וַתְּהִ֣י
𐤐𐤉𐤄	𐤒𐤐𐤑𐤄	𐤅𐤏𐤋𐤕𐤄	𐤕𐤒𐤅𐤄	𐤋𐤃𐤋	𐤅𐤕𐤄𐤉
pa-yha	qa-pa-sa-ha	wa-'a-la-tha-ha	tha-qa-wa-ha	la-da-l	wa-tha-ha-ya
piyha	qapesah	we'olatah	tiqewah	ladal	watehiy
its mouth.	shuts	and injustice	hope,	So the poor	have

5-16. So the poor hath hope, and iniquity stoppeth her mouth.

תִּמְאָֽס	אַל	שַׁ֝דַּ֗י	וּמוּסַ֥ר	אֱלֹ֑והַּ	יֹוכִחֶ֣נּֽוּ	אֱ֭נֹושׁ	אַשְׁרֵ֣י	הִנֵּ֤ה
𐤕𐤌𐤀𐤎	𐤀𐤋	𐤔𐤃𐤉	𐤅𐤌𐤅𐤎𐤓	𐤀𐤋𐤅𐤄	𐤉𐤅𐤊𐤇𐤍𐤅	𐤀𐤍𐤅𐤔	𐤀𐤔𐤓𐤉	𐤄𐤍𐤄
tha-ma-aa-sh	aa-l	sha-da-ya	wmwsa-r	au-la-wha	ya-wka-cha-nwa	au-na-wsha	aa-sha-ra-ya	ha-na-ha
time'as	'al	saday	wmwsar	'elowha	yowkihenw	'enows	'aserey	hineh
despise	so do not	of the Almighty.	the discipline	[whom] God	corrects;	is the man	Blessed	indeed

5-17. Behold, happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening of the Almighty:

תִּרְפֶּֽינָה	וְיָדָ֥יו	יִ֝מְחַ֗ץ	וְיֶחְבָּ֑שׁ	יַכְאִ֣יב	כִּ֤יה֣וּא
𐤕𐤓𐤐𐤉𐤍𐤄	𐤅𐤉𐤃𐤉𐤅	𐤉𐤌𐤇𐤑	𐤅𐤉𐤇􉀑𐤔	𐤉𐤊𐤀𐤉􉀑	𐤊𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤀
tha-ra-pa-yna-ha	wa-ya-da-ywa	ya-ma-cha-tz	wa-ya-cha-ba-sha	ya-ka-aa-yb	ka-yhwa
tirepeynah	weyadayw	yimehas	weyehebas	yake'iyb	kiyhw'
also heal.	but His hands	He strikes,	but also binds;	wounds,	For He

5-18. For he maketh sore, and bindeth up: he woundeth, and his hands make whole.

job 5:19

בְּךָ֣רָֽע	יִגַּ֖ע	לֹא	וּבְשֶׁ֓בַע	יַצִּילֶ֑ךָּ	צָ֭רֹות	בְּשֵׁ֣שׁ
􉀑𐤊𐤓𐤏	𐤉𐤂𐤏	𐤋𐤀	𐤅􉀑𐤔􉀑𐤏	𐤉𐤑𐤉𐤋𐤊	𐤑𐤓𐤅𐤕	􉀑𐤔𐤔
ba-ka-ra-'	ya-ga-'	la-a	wba-sha-ba-'	ya-sa-yla-ka	sa-ra-wtha	ba-sha-sha
bekara'	yiga'	lo'	wbeseba'	yasiyleka	sarowt	beses
you harm	will touch	no	in seven.	He will rescue	calamities;	you from six

5-19. He shall deliver thee in six troubles: yea, in seven there shall no evil touch thee.

חָֽרֶב	ידֵי	מִ֣	וּ֝בְמִלְחָמָ֗ה	מָּ֑וֶת	מִ	פָּֽדְךָ֣	בְּ֭רָעָב
𐤇𐤓􉀑	𐤉𐤃𐤉	𐤌	𐤅􉀑𐤌𐤋𐤇𐤌𐤄	𐤌𐤅𐤕	𐤌	𐤐𐤃𐤊	􉀑𐤓𐤏􉀑
cha-ra-b	yda-ya	ma	wba-ma-la-cha-ma-ha	ma-wa-tha	ma	pa-da-ka	ba-ra-'a-b
hareb	ydey	mi	wbemilehamah	mawet	mi	padeka	bera'ab

5-20. In famine he shall redeem thee from death: and in war from the power of the sword.

כִּ֣ייָבֹֽוא	שֹּׁ֗ד	מִ֝	תִירָ֥א	וְֽלֹא	תֵּחָבֵ֑א	לָ֭שֹׁון	בְּשֹׁ֣וט
𐤊𐤉𐤉􉀑𐤅𐤀	𐤔𐤃	𐤌	𐤕𐤉𐤓𐤀	𐤅𐤋𐤀	𐤕𐤇􉀑𐤀	𐤋𐤔𐤅𐤍	􉀑𐤔𐤅𐤈
ka-yya-ba-wa	sha-d	ma	tha-yra-a	wa-la-a	tha-cha-ba-a	la-sha-wn	ba-sha-wt
kiyyabow'	sod	mi	tiyra'	welo'	tehabe'	lasown	besowt
when it comes.	destruction		fear	and need not	You will be hidden	of the tongue,	from the scourge

5-21. Thou shalt be hid from the scourge of the tongue: neither shalt thou be afraid of destruction when it cometh.

job 5:22

תִּירָֽא	אַל	הָ֝אָ֗רֶץ	חַיַּ֥ת	וּֽמֵ	תִּשְׂחָ֑ק	וּלְכָפָ֣ן	לְשֹׁ֣ד
𐤕𐤉𐤓𐤀	𐤀𐤋	𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑	𐤇𐤉𐤕	𐤅𐤌	𐤕𐤔𐤇𐤒	𐤅𐤋𐤊𐤐𐤍	𐤋𐤔𐤃
tha-yra-a	aa-l	ha-aa-ra-tz	cha-ya-tha	wma	tha-sha-cha-qh	wla-ka-pa-n	la-sha-d
tiyra'	'al	ha'ares	hayat	wme	tisehaq	wlekapan	lesod
fear	and need not	of the earth.	the beasts		You will laugh	and and famine,	at destruction

5-22. At destruction and famine thou shalt laugh: neither shalt thou be afraid of the beasts of the earth.

job 5:23

הָשְׁלְמָה	הַ֝שָּׂדֶ֗ה	וְחַיַּ֥ת	בְרִיתֶ֑ךָ	הַשָּׂדֶ֣ה	אַבְנֵ֣י	כִּ֤יעִם
𐤄𐤔𐤋𐤌𐤄	𐤄𐤔𐤃𐤄	𐤅𐤇𐤉𐤕	􉀑𐤓𐤉𐤕𐤊	𐤄𐤔𐤃𐤄	𐤀􉀑𐤍𐤉	𐤊𐤉𐤏𐤌
ha-sha-la-ma-ha	ha-sha-da-ha	wa-cha-ya-tha	ba-ra-ytha-ka	ha-sha-da-ha	aa-ba-na-ya	ka-y'a-m
haselemah	hasadeh	wehayat	beriyteka	hasadeh	'abeney	kiy'im
will be at peace	and the wild	animals	you will have a covenant	of the field,	the stones	For with

5-23. For thou shalt be in league with the stones of the field: and the beasts of the field shall be at peace with thee.

job 5:24

תֶחֱטָֽא	וְלֹ֣א	נָ֝וְךָ	וּֽפָקַדְתָּ֥	אָהֳלֶ֑ךָ	כִּישָׁלֹ֣ום	לָֽךְוְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ
𐤕𐤇𐤈𐤀	𐤅𐤋𐤀	𐤍𐤅𐤊	𐤅𐤐𐤒𐤃𐤕	𐤀𐤄𐤋𐤊	𐤊𐤉𐤔𐤋𐤅𐤌	𐤋𐤊𐤅𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕
tha-chu-ta-a	wa-la-a	na-wa-ka	wpa-qa-da-tha	aa-hola-ka	ka-ysha-la-wm	la-ka-wa-ya-da-'a-tha
teheta'	welo'	naweka	wpaqadeta	'aholeka	kiysalowm	lakeweyada'eta
amiss	and find nothing	your home.	when inspecting	your tent	that is secure,	with you. with you. You will know

5-24. And thou shalt know that thy tabernacle shall be in peace; and thou shalt visit thy habitation, and shalt not sin.

הָאָֽרֶץ	עֵ֣שֶׂב	כְּ	וְ֝צֶאֱצָאֶ֗יךָ	זַרְעֶ֑ךָ	כִּירַ֣ב	וְֽ֭יָדַעְתָּ
𐤄𐤀𐤓𐤑	𐤏𐤔􉀑	𐤊	𐤅𐤑𐤀𐤑𐤀𐤉𐤊	𐤆𐤓𐤏𐤊	𐤊𐤉𐤓􉀑	𐤅𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤕
ha-aa-ra-tz	'a-sha-b	ka	wa-sa-au-sa-aa-yka	za-ra-'a-ka	ka-yra-b	wa-ya-da-'a-tha
ha'ares	'eseb	ke	wese'esa'eyka	zare'eka	kiyrab	weyada'eta
of the earth.	[will be] like the grass		and your descendants	your offspring	that will be many,	You will know

5-25. Thou shalt know also that thy seed shall be great, and thine offspring as the grass of the earth.

job 5:26

בְּעִתֹּֽו	גָּדִ֣ישׁ	עֲלֹ֖ות	כַּ	אֱלֵיקָ֑בֶר	בְכֶ֣לַח	תָּבֹ֣וא

be'itow	gadiys	'alowt	ka	'eleyqaber	bekelah	tabow'
