יָמָֽיו	חָ֥זוּ	לֹא	וְ֝יֹדְעָ֗יו	עִתִּ֑ים	נִצְפְּנ֣וּ	לֹא	שַּׁדַּי	מִ֭	מַדּ֗וּעַ
𐤉𐤌𐤉𐤅	𐤇𐤆𐤅	𐤋𐤀	𐤅𐤉𐤃𐤏𐤉𐤅	𐤏𐤕𐤉𐤌	𐤍𐤑𐤐𐤍𐤅	𐤋𐤀	𐤔𐤃𐤉	𐤌	𐤌𐤃𐤅𐤏
yamaywh	hazwh	lo'	weyode'aywh	'itiymh	nisepenwh	lo'	sadayh	mi	madw'a
yamayw	hazw	lo'	weyode'ayw	'itiym	nisepenw	lo'	saday	mi	madw'a
His days?	see	never	Why may those who know Him	times for judgment?	reserve	not	does the Almighty		Why

24-1. Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

job 24:2

וַיִּרְעֽוּ	גָּ֝זְל֗וּ	עֵ֥דֶר	יַשִּׂ֑יגוּ	גְּבֻלֹ֥ות
𐤅𐤉𐤓𐤏𐤅	𐤂𐤆𐤋𐤅	𐤏𐤃𐤓	𐤉𐤔𐤉𐤂𐤅	𐤂􉀑𐤋𐤅𐤕
wayire'wh	gazelwh	'ederh	yasiygwh	gebulowth
wayire'w	gazelw	'eder	yasiygw	gebulowt
they pasture	stolen	flocks.	Men move	boundary stones;

24-2. Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.

job 24:3

אַלְמָנָֽה	שֹׁ֣ור	יַ֝חְבְּל֗וּ	יִנְהָ֑גוּ	יְתֹומִ֣ים	חֲמֹ֣ור
𐤀𐤋𐤌𐤍𐤄	𐤔𐤅𐤓	𐤉𐤇􉀑𐤋𐤅	𐤉𐤍𐤄𐤂𐤅	𐤉𐤕𐤅𐤌𐤉𐤌	𐤇𐤌𐤅𐤓
'alemanahh	sowrh	yahebelwh	yinehagwh	yetowmiymh	hamowrh
'alemanah	sowr	yahebelw	yinehagw	yetowmiym	hamowr
and take the widow’s	ox	in pledge.	They drive away	of the fatherless	the donkey

24-3. They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.

job 24:4

אָֽרֶץ	עֲנִיֵּי	חֻ֝בְּא֗וּ	יַ֥חַד	דָּ֑רֶךְ	מִ	אֶבְיֹונִ֣ים	יַטּ֣וּ
𐤀𐤓𐤑	𐤏𐤍𐤉𐤉	𐤇􉀑𐤀𐤅	𐤉𐤇𐤃	𐤃𐤓𐤊	𐤌	𐤀􉀑𐤉𐤅𐤍𐤉𐤌	𐤉𐤈𐤅
'aresh	'aniyeyh	hube'wh	yahadh	dareke	mi	'ebeyowniymh	yatwh
'ares	'aniyey	hube'w	yahad	dareke	mi	'ebeyowniym	yatw
of the land	the poor	into hiding.	and force all	off the road		the needy	They push

24-4. They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.

job 24:5

לַנְּעָרִֽים	לֹ֥ולֶ֝֗חֶם	עֲרָבָ֥ה	לַטָּ֑רֶף	מְשַׁחֲרֵ֣י	בְּ֭פָעֳלָם	יָצְא֣וּ	בַּֽמִּדְבָּ֗ר	פְּרָאִ֨ים	הֵ֤ן
𐤋𐤍𐤏𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤋𐤅𐤋𐤇𐤌	𐤏𐤓􉀑𐤄	𐤋𐤈𐤓𐤐	𐤌𐤔𐤇𐤓𐤉	􉀑𐤐𐤏𐤋𐤌	𐤉𐤑𐤀𐤅	􉀑𐤌𐤃􉀑𐤓	𐤐𐤓𐤀𐤉𐤌	𐤄𐤍

for their children.	is food	the wasteland	for food;	foraging	to work	the poor go	in the desert,	[like] wild donkeys	Indeed,

24-5. Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising betimes for a prey: the wilderness yieldeth food for them and for their children.

יְלַקֵּֽשׁוּ	רָשָׁ֣ע	וְכֶ֖רֶם	יִקְצֹ֑ורוּ	בְּלִילֹ֣ו	בַּ֭שָּׂדֶה
𐤉𐤋𐤒𐤔𐤅	𐤓𐤔𐤏	𐤅𐤊𐤓𐤌	𐤉𐤒𐤑𐤅𐤓𐤅	􉀑𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤅	􉀑𐤔𐤃𐤄
yelaqeswh	rasa'	wekeremh	yiqesowrwh	beliylowh	basadehh
yelaqesw	rasa'	wekerem	yiqesowrw	beliylow	basadeh
and glean	of the wicked.	the vineyards	They gather	fodder	in the fields

24-6. They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.

job 24:7

בַּקָּרָֽה	כְּ֝ס֗וּת	וְאֵ֥ין	לְב֑וּשׁ	בְּלִ֣י	מִ	יָ֭לִינוּ	עָרֹ֣ום
􉀑𐤒𐤓𐤄	𐤊𐤎𐤅𐤕	𐤅𐤀𐤉𐤍	𐤋􉀑𐤅𐤔	􉀑𐤋𐤉	𐤌	𐤉𐤋𐤉𐤍𐤅	𐤏𐤓𐤅𐤌
baqarahh	keswth	we'eynh	lebwsh	beliyh	mi	yaliynwh	'arowmh
baqarah	keswt	we'eyn	lebws	beliy	mi	yaliynw	'arowm
against the cold.	covering	they have no	clothing,	Without		they spend the night	naked;

24-7. They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.

job 24:8

צֽוּר	חִבְּקוּ	מַ֝חְסֶ֗ה	בְּלִ֥י	וּֽמִ	יִרְטָ֑בוּ	הָרִ֣ים	זֶּ֣רֶם	מִ
𐤑𐤅𐤓	𐤇􉀑𐤒𐤅	𐤌𐤇𐤎𐤄	􉀑𐤋𐤉	𐤅𐤌	𐤉𐤓𐤈􉀑𐤅	𐤄𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤆𐤓𐤌	𐤌
swrh	hibeqwh	mahesehh	beliyh	wmi	yiretabwh	hariymh	zeremh	mi
swr	hibeqw	maheseh	beliy	wmi	yiretabw	hariym	zerem	mi
against the rocks	they huddle	of shelter.	for want		Drenched	by mountain	rains,

24-8. They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for want of a shelter.

job 24:9

יַחְבֹּֽלוּ	עָנִ֥י	וְֽעַל	יָתֹ֑ום	שֹּׁ֣ד	מִ	יִ֭גְזְלוּ
𐤉𐤇􉀑𐤋𐤅	𐤏𐤍𐤉	𐤅𐤏𐤋	𐤉𐤕𐤅𐤌	𐤔𐤃	𐤌	𐤉𐤂𐤆𐤋𐤅
yahebolwh	'aniyh	we'alh	yatowmh	sodh	mi	yigezelwh
yahebolw	'aniy	we'al	yatowm	sod	mi	yigezelw
is seized for a debt.	of the poor	the nursing child	The fatherless infant	the breast;	from	is snatched

24-9. They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.

job 24:10

עֹֽמֶר	נָ֣שְׂאוּ	וּ֝רְעֵבִ֗ים	לְב֑וּשׁ	בְּלִ֣י	הִ֭לְּכוּ	עָרֹ֣ום
𐤏𐤌𐤓	𐤍𐤔𐤀𐤅	𐤅𐤓𐤏􉀑𐤉𐤌	𐤋􉀑𐤅𐤔	􉀑𐤋𐤉	𐤄𐤋𐤊𐤅	𐤏𐤓𐤅𐤌
'omerh	nase'wh	wre'ebiymh	lebwsh	beliyh	hilekwh	'arowmh

the sheaves,	They carry	but still go hungry.	clothing,	Without	they wander about	naked.

24-10. They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;

וַיִּצְמָֽאוּ	דָּ֝רְכ֗וּ	יְקָבִ֥ים	יַצְהִ֑ירוּ	שׁוּרֹתָ֥ם	בֵּין
𐤅𐤉𐤑𐤌𐤀𐤅	𐤃𐤓𐤊𐤅	𐤉𐤒􉀑𐤉𐤌	𐤉𐤑𐤄𐤉𐤓𐤅	𐤔𐤅𐤓𐤕𐤌	􉀑𐤉𐤍
wayisema'wh	darekwh	yeqabiymh	yasehiyrwh	swrotamh	beynh
wayisema'w	darekw	yeqabiym	yasehiyrw	swrotam	beyn
but go thirsty.	they tread	the winepresses,	They crush olives	their walls;	within

24-11. Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.

24-13. They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.

גַּנָּֽב	כַ	יְהִ֣י	וּ֝בַלַּ֗יְלָה	וְאֶבְיֹ֑ון	עָנִ֥י	יִֽקְטָל	רֹוצֵ֗חַ	יָ֘ק֤וּם	לָאֹ֡ור
𐤂𐤍􉀑	𐤊	𐤉𐤄𐤉	𐤅􉀑𐤋𐤉𐤋𐤄	𐤅𐤀􉀑𐤉𐤅𐤍	𐤏𐤍𐤉	𐤉𐤒𐤈𐤋	𐤓𐤅𐤑𐤇	𐤉𐤒𐤅𐤌	𐤋𐤀𐤅𐤓
ganabh	ka	yehiyh	wbalayelahh	we'ebeyownh	'aniyh	yiqetalh	rowseha	yaqwmh	la'owrh
ganab	ka	yehiy	wbalayelah	we'ebeyown	'aniy	yiqetal	rowseha	yaqwm	la'owr
like a thief.		he is	in the night	and needy;	the poor	to kill	the murderer	rises	When daylight [is gone],

24-14. The murderer rising with the light killeth the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.

24-19. Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so doth the grave those which have sinned.

24-21. He evil entreateth the barren that beareth not: and doeth not good to the widow.

בַּֽחַיִּֽין	יַאֲמִ֥ין	וְֽלֹא	יָ֝ק֗וּם	בְּכֹחֹ֑ו	אַבִּירִ֣ים	וּמָשַׁ֣ךְ
􉀑𐤇𐤉𐤉𐤍	𐤉𐤀𐤌𐤉𐤍	𐤅𐤋𐤀	𐤉𐤒𐤅𐤌	􉀑𐤊𐤇𐤅	𐤀􉀑𐤉𐤓𐤉𐤌	𐤅𐤌𐤔𐤊
bahayiynh	ya'amiynh	welo'	yaqwmh	bekohowh	'abiyriymh	wmasake
bahayiyn	ya'amiyn	welo'	yaqwm	bekohow	'abiyriym	wmasake
of life.	assurance	they have no	though rising up,	Yet by His power,	the mighty.	God drags away

24-22. He draweth also the mighty with his power: he riseth up, and no man is sure of life.

דַּרְכֵיהֶֽם	עַל	וְ֝עֵינֵ֗יהוּ	וְיִשָּׁעֵ֑ן	לֹ֣ולָ֭בֶטַח	יִתֶּן

24-23. Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he resteth; yet his eyes are upon their ways.

מִלָּתִֽי	לְ֝אַ֗ל	וְיָשֵׂ֥ם	יַכְזִיבֵ֑נִי	מִ֣י	אֵ֭פֹו	וְאִםלֹ֣א
𐤌𐤋𐤕𐤉	𐤋𐤀𐤋	𐤅𐤉𐤔𐤌	𐤉𐤊𐤆𐤉􉀑𐤍𐤉	𐤌𐤉	𐤀𐤐𐤅	𐤅𐤀𐤌𐤋𐤀
milatiyh	le'alh	weyasemh	yakeziybeniyh	miyh	'epowh	we'imlo'
milatiy	le'al	weyasem	yakeziybeniy	miy	'epow	we'imlo'
my words	to nothing?”	and reduce	can prove me a liar	who	then	If this is not so,

24-25. And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?
